My husband and I recently experienced a delightful retreat at Epicerie Gourmande Bed & Breakfast, which has left a lasting impression on us. The rustic charm of our traditional room, adorned with a cozy balcony overlooking the quaint street below, was a serene sanctuary. The attention to detail in the room's décor was understated yet elegant, providing a comfortable and spotless environment.The on-site shop exuded a picturesque allure, boasting a delightful array of local produce. Marilyn and Marion’s warm hospitality added an extra touch to our stay, ensuring we felt truly welcomed. Dining at their intimate restaurant was a delightful culinary journey, complemented by a street-side terrace setting that added to the charm.Although the accommodation does not boast extravagant amenities like air conditioning or a flat-screen TV, the value lies in its unique appeal and personalized service. Epicerie Gourmande's prime location at the heart of the village and thoughtful touches like secure storage for bicycles make it a worthwhile choice for a cozy retreat. The limited yet homely menu may not cater to every palate, but the homemade dishes are crafted with care.
